I love free stuff, and I especially love getting free stuff for my birthday! It’s basically like these companies are taking the time to celebrate me, and I’ll definitely be there to accept!
I’ve searched high and low over the years to compile the best list of birthday freebies available for us Canadians, and the following list includes all the free goodies that I have found!

- Cora’s: Sign up for Cora’s newsletter and get $5 towards your birthday meal
- Dairy Queen: Sign up for the Blizzard Fan Club and get a BOGO free blizzard coupon on your birthday
- DAVID’s TEA: Sign up and get a coupon for a free tea during your birthday month
- Denny’s: Free Build Your Own Grand Slam meal in store. Valid picture ID must be presented, and offer is valid on your actual birthday only
- East Side Mario’s: Sign up for their newsletter and get a dessert
- Harvey’s: Sign up for their newsletter and get a free burger and frings (fries & onion rings) on your birthday
- IHOP: Join IHOP’s Birthday Club and receive a coupon for one free order of Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity Pancakes. BC/AB/ON only
- Jack Astors: sign up for the Jack Astor’s VIP club to receive a free dessert on your birthday
- The Keg: Let them know it’s your birthday in the restaurant and get free ice cream cake
- Krispy Kreme: Sign up for their loyalty program and get a free Doughnut and Coffee!

- Montana’s: Let them know it’s your birthday and you will get a free piece of cake
- Orange Julius: Sign up for the Julius League and get a BOGO free coupon emailed to you on your birthday
- Panera Bread: Join MyPanera and get a free treat on your birthday
- Pita Pit: Sign up for their rewards program and get 400 bonus points on your birthday
- Red Lobster: Sign up for the newsletter and get a free appetizer or dessert for your birthday

- What A Bagel: Buy 6 bagels on your birthday and get 6 free. You’ll need a photo id to claim this

- Sephora: Sign up for their Beauty Insider card (free) and get a free birthday gift sample set! They change sets every year, and usually give you a couple of options to choose from. Best of all there’s no purchase necessary if you pick it up in store, and it’s valid for your whole birthday month!
- The Body Shop: Sign up for their Love Your Body Club and get a $10 free product during your birthday month
- The Gap: Sign up for their newsletter to receive a free birthday surprise coupon
