Learn how you can receive completely free samples of your favourite products in the mail directly from Amazon!

It’s true! You can receive free product samples delivered directly to your mailbox from Amazon. I love getting free samples, so I was extremely happy to learn that Amazon sends out free products to their customers to try.
The products seem to arrive at random times with no notice, but if you sign up now than you’ll be more likely to receive some free goodies next time they send them out. I’m not, nor have I previously been, a member of Amazon Prime – so it doesn’t look like that affects your likelihood of receiving samples.
All you need to do is make sure that your account settings are setup to allow freebies and you’re on your way. Here’s what you need to do:
- Sign into your amazon.ca account
- Go onto your main Account page
- Scroll down until you see “Communication Preferences” – mine is located under the heading “Email alerts, messages, and ads”
- Locate the heading titled “Mail preferences” and expand the subheading titled “Marketing Information by Post”
- Select the top option that says “Send me information about my Amazon memberships, new Amazon products and services, deals or recommendations by mail.”
- That’s it! Amazon now has your approval to send you free product samples in the mail to your address on file!
Products are sent out at random, and over the past little while I’ve received multiple boxes of K-Cup coffee samples, granola bars, and Tide Pods laundry detergent samples. Receiving free samples has always been my favourite mail to receive, so I hope that you enjoy some free goodies too!
